  •  OUR STORY

Linnie Gold is your go-to shopping destination for affordable little luxuries.  We believe in beautiful jewelry that is versatile, effortless and fun to wear.  Offering the latest in fashion trends gives us the ability to bring you the perfect mix of must have modern and classic styles.

MAKE AN IMPACT WITH YOUR PURCHASE

In addition to providing beautiful jewelry, our goal is to help empower and educate women when it comes to providing awareness about ovarian cancer.

In 2013 Linnie's 20 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer after being misdiagnosed a month prior. Sent home from the ER with a diagnosis of "upset stomach”, it wasn’t until a routine GYN appointment that a massive tumor was found. What followed next was nothing short of fear, panic and devastation. The next 3 years were filled with surgeries, chemo and lots of tears.  So many wonderful people stepped up to offer help and comfort during this difficult time.

We believe in giving back and with the help of your purchases, Linnie Gold will donate 10% of profits on select items to organizations dedicated to ovarian cancer research and awareness.

KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVARIAN CANCER,

    IT CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE!

Symptoms of ovarian cancer often mimic common monthly symptoms such as bloating, frequent urination, abdominal pain, eating less and feeling full, which makes it difficult to detect and the reason it has the nickname The Silent Killer. In most cases, ovarian cancer isn’t diagnosed until it has progressed to an advanced stage. According to the American Cancer Society, only about 20% of cases are diagnosed at an early stage.

There is no adequate screening test for ovarian cancer at this time which is one of the reasons that this cancer is often discovered in later stages.

22,240 new cases will be diagnosed this year.  Every 24 minutes another woman is diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the U.S.  1 in 79 women will develop it in their lifetime. 14,070 women will die from ovarian cancer this year.
